A few words about me…
‘ The love of gardening is a seed once sown that never dies ‘ – Gertrude Jekyll
My love for gardening comes from my roots on a family farm. I was lucky enough to be surrounded by the beauty of nature from a young age! I developed a real love and respect for the environment and all its wonderful cycles. The farm was so much more than just a place of work. It was a beautiful sanctuary that fostered my connection to the earth in a way that no other place ever could. My early experiences with planting seeds, nurturing plants, and harvesting crops made me really aware of my responsibility towards nature and of the importance of sustainable practices.
However, as I grew up and started working, my career path led me away from this nurturing environment. I spent years in retail and office jobs, which were great in many ways, but I felt like there was something missing. I knew I needed to reconnect with nature to feel fulfilled again. During this time, I often thought about the joy I found in gardening – the satisfaction of watching life flourish under careful stewardship.
It’s time for me to reconnect with my roots and start doing what I love most!
